A FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) is a report requested to ensure that all of the printed circuit board dimensions, materials and process are controlled through manufacture, these reports are usually supported with a micro-section (cross section through copper layers of the printed circuit board) to demonstrate the thickness and integrity of all of the copper plating process.
